Hellohello!

So here's the update I promised. Written quickly before next lesson starts so hehee!


Stage Homepage (in Finnish)

My school is one of the schools chosen to compete in Stage. Stage is a new TV show where schools compete which school has the best musical. So today we had a casting in our school. Here came a couple of Finnish celebrities to couch us and pick the best 16 out of ~80 participants to star in our school's musical.

Before the actual casting the cameramen searched for ME? xD I was surprised. They asked me to dance parapara, which is a Japanese club dance. So I danced a bit from Black U.F.O. and probably looked veryvery confused. So you might see me on TV, yay!

The actual casting goes like this:

1st round: Sing or dance.
2nd round: Own one-minute show. (can be singing, dancing, acting, magic tricks etc.)
3rd round: Sing or dance. (Must pick the one you haven't done yet!)

My strong area is acting and I'm a poor dancer and a terrible singer so my own show was supposed to be improvisation theater but I got cut out in the 1st round. Can't help it! Dancing with Marco Bjurström was fun though! The 2nd round is about to start so I wish all the luck to the competitors! Let's show the whole country the talent our school has!

The show will start on April (I think) and you can watch it on Nelonen (4th channel). You can also follow our progress on Internet later on.

Hey all!

Today I feel like sharing things that inspire me with you. I have all this inspiration but I'm too lazy or poor to do anything. Or not just creative enough.

ITEMS

Old clocks. I love them so much. I have two clock-related accessories and I want more...
Pearls. Simple, timeless, beautiful.
Matryoshka dolls. Colorful, Russian dolls. There is something that attracts me to them...
Old cameras. Oh, how I love them! I want to have one. A working one to take pictures with. And I don't mean cameras from the 19th ceuntry but from the 50's or so.
Bows. Girly, cute and yet so simple.

FABRICS

Flower print. I own very little clothes with flower print on them, but I do want to have a shirt or a dress!
Lace. White, black, cute, sexy, lace is always beautiful.
Light colours. Such as natural white, pale pink, pale brown...

NATURE

Forget-me-nots. I just love the name! ♥

Roses. Romantic and dramatic at the same time. Love.
Bullfinches. I love their colouring. I'm doing a bullfinch-related work in our art class. I might post it here when it's ready.
Bare trees. They have an unique atmosphere.
Ravens. Ravens are so mysterious... And I just realized how much I love the word "raven". ♥
Butterflies. So tiny, light and colorful. Butterflies are awesome.

Lingonberries. It reminds me of Finland and its nature.

CLOTHES

Berets. I've lost two black berets and I'm trying to keep my 3rd one safe. Lovely, lovely berets, my favourite hats of all time. Wearing one gives you a classy feeling. They can also be decorated with brooches and stuff to look pretty. ♥
Granny boots. Just one of the many things I love from the 80's. (Andie's style in the film Pretty in Pink ♥)
High heels. I'm not a high heel freak but I do like them.

HUMAN-RELATED

Piercings. I do not like them all and wearing too many might be bad-looking, but I still can't help liking them...

Tattoos. I love the colourful ones as much as the plain, simple ones. I'm thinking of what kind of tattoo I would like to get someday.
Pin up. "A quilty pleasure." If I could say so. I like burlesque a little too.

SHOPS

Accessorize. If I could, I would buy all the accessories sold there.
Putiikki rannalla. A lifestyle-shop which sells lovely lovely clothes from brands like Odd Molly, Soaked in Luxury, Jackpot, rosemunde and Part Two, but they're all way too expensive.

My all-time-favourite band Flogging Molly finally released the cover art and the name of their upcoming album! ♥ It looks so different from the usual Molly style! And the new songs sound a bit different too. I can't wait to hear the rest of the album. I wonder when I can pre-order it...

I wish I could find a dedicated fan I could hype with. And talk of the old songs. Like exchange our opinions and stuff.

ps. ♥ I miss the warm nights of Summer. The time when you can walk on the streets without shoes and you can lie down on the pavement and smell the dust and the grass and you can just talk and talk and talk and talk and it will be bright all night...

Well, I have to admit that I haven't been listening to SOAD that much. I first listened to it a little at 6th grade and now in high school. I just recently listened through Mezmerize and I reallyreally liked it! SOAD sounds so funny! And Serj Tankian has a great voice!!

And about Vitamin String Quartet... I found VSQ on Spotify last summer. They do nice covers with strings ^^ I have a weakness for string instruments...

Do you ever get a fearful feeling that somebody you love will just get fed up with you and not like you anymore? I don't necessarily mean a relationship, but... Friendship. Because for me, my friends are everything. I try to hold them dear even though I have a boyfriend. I kind of dislike all these couples who only see each other and they don't spend time with their friends anymore. But, to the topic, I'd like to speak a little of my friends.

He really is a precious friend of mine. So veryvery precious. I've never met a boy like him before and I doubt I never will again. But I get this feeling from him, the feeling I mentioned at the beginning. I have no idea why. (Well I'm paranoid most of the time...) Our future scares me. Maybe sometime we will not be like us anymore. What will happen then?

We used to be so close, but something happened with her. Her attitude just started to irritate me. The way she treats other people. People she dislikes. But I think she really doesn't want to be mean. So I don't know what to think of her anymore.

He has changed a little from the first I met him, but actually it doesn't matter anymore. I had to grow a little as a person because of him. I still struggle with this little, meaningless thing but... Someday I'll overcome it. At the moment I feel like he understands me the most and we have a lot of things to discuss. He's a very dear friend of mine and I'd like to keep in touch with him, like, forever.

All people have their share of problems and no problem should be belittled. I have somewhat difficult problems, so sometimes I just don't feel like taking care of her anymore. Her problems seem so tiny. And there are really no reasons behind them. Or at least I think so. I've never heard of anything big. We try our best to help her, but it seems like she doesn't listen to us. So we feel helpless. But she is a nice person and she really has no need to worry about stupid little things!! ♥

Even though I've known her the longest we are not that close. I wish we were more close. I really love her childishness but she really needs to grow up a little. Her sister can't always be there "protecting" her. I don't mean that she has to act all mature, being tiny and cute is just perfect, but she's way too innocent for her age... I think she needs little a wake-up slap. Honestly. Just a little.

I don't feel like writing of anybody else right now. I've just wanted to say some of the things above but when I try to say them, I just don't feel like saying them anymore. I'm a little bit of a coward. If those described above ever end up here, they will recognize themselves. Maybe then we can finally discuss some things.

Still, oh, how much I love them. ♥
